  1. My personal favorite was http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html .It is fun and interactive.
One tip I would give all my classmates is to never rush. Once, in an international spelling bee in Jordan, I lost because I was too overconfident when they gave me the word advisor. I switched the v and the i.
    Good luck everyone!

  2. My favorite website was the http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html and the http://spellingbee.com/wordclub website. They were interactive and helped me practice. Another way to practice is to look up spelling bee wordlists for higher levels. This is helpful because when I was in a school spelling bee in my old school when I was in fifth grade, the levels of the words got till the eighth grade level which I wasn't ready for and I lost because I spelled a forgot to say that there was an accent on one the letters.
Spelling bees can be very stressful but with concentration and good will power anything is possible!

  3. My particular favorite was the merriam webster one. Mainly because of how they gave you only 15 seconds to answer them. They also show at the end which you got wrong which was very helpful. They also show your score at the end and you can choose to compare it with the average kid's score! One of the ways, i'm practicing is through usually asking friends and family to test me on them. I also have a small whiteboard at my house; on which I write down the words. Last year, I was so nervous that during the oral spelling bee, I spelled a pretty easy word wrong. This year, Inshallah, I won't get nervous and will practice very well!

  4. My personal favorite was https://www.learner.org/interactives/spelling/.html because we knew what words we needed help on and the definition of the word so not only we know how to spell it, but to know the meaning of it as well. In my opinion, that is a very helpful website that can help us spell way better than we would have before and also learn the meaning of what we were spelling

  5. A few websites that I found helpful and very entertaining at the same time were:
    1) http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html
    2) http://www.wordcentral.com/home.html
    3) https://www.learner.org/interactives/spelling/
For the first website, I liked it because you can make private games and play to see if you know the spelling words. Also at the end it tells you what words you got wrong. For the second website I had fun because when you click on robo-bee it brings up a great game to move the letters around to create the word. I thought of it as matching the gems to find out where the next treasure was hidden!! For the third website I found it interesting because you can listen to a story to give you hints about how to spell the words.

  6. Personally the website that I liked best was: htps://www.arcademecs.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html I really enjoyed that website because everything is taught in a fun way that makes people and me actually want to do more spelling!

  7. I really enjoyed all these websites, but there were two that i really enjoyed out of all of them. The first one was the http://www.merriam-webster.com/ because it gave me a lot of really fun games to play, an example is the one where they pointed an arrow at a certain thing in the picture and you had to name it. Another one of the websites i really enjoyed and learned a lot from was, https://www.learner.org/interactives/spelling/ i thoroughly liked this one because it told you a paragraph and put a few empty blanks in the paragraph which you had to spell the word in based on what you heard. These websites really helped me and made my knowledge of understanding the words better.

  8. A website I really enjoyed was https://www.learner.org/interactives/spelling/spelling.html?s=g6-8, because it gave me a story that had a few missing words, I had to type the word with the correct spelling, and they gave me a score in the end. One tip i would give to my classmates, is that to think carefully and to not rush in spelling the words, especially if it is orally. I wish everyone luck!

  11. My personal favorite is http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html .it was very interactive and had a very fun way of playing the game .i have a tip for all the fellow 7th grade students. they should not be over confident of them selves or think that they are not going to when .the spelling bee is not a computation of wining and losing but it is for the knowledge .

  12. Some websites that were really helpful were:
    1. http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html
    2.https://www.learner.org/interactives/spelling/.
The first website was helpful because you can create games and not think that spelling is just something you have to be stressed about. The other website was also really nice because you had to fill in the missing words in a paragraph. That was good because after you put the word in, you could picture that word with the details from the story. This will help you remember it in the Spelling Bee, Inshaallah.

  15. In my opinion, all the websites were fun and helpful, but there were two which I thought were the most interesting. The first one was http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html, because the game on it taught me to think fast and not to spend that much time thinking or else I’ll lose! The second website was https://www.learner.org/interactives/spelling/. I think that this is very useful, because I can use context clues to help understand the word I have to spell in the text. Overall, all the websites were exciting, and all contain the most important thing- to encourage and help me spell!

  16. The website I found the most helpful was http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html
because you would listen to the word and then spell it. It would help you think faster while trying to spell a word. I tried other ones, but I found this one the most helpful and fun. Other ways you could study for the spelling bee is making flashcards and have someone test you on the words or you could write the word a lot of times so when you are spelling it you remember how to spell it correctly.

  17. In my opinion the website I found most helpful was:http://www.wordcentral.com/
because you could play different games like Alpha-Bot which I thought was very helpful for me because it helped me remember the words that I needed to know.

  18. I really enjoyed the one from arcademics.com because it was fun. I would definitely recommend other people to try it because it feels like a game, not like a homework assignment. The only problem with it was that you had to rely on other people just to be able to practice spelling. In contrast, the merriam-webster.com weblink wasn't very exciting at all. Actually, it was pretty plain and boring; I wouldn't recommend it. I'd rate the learner.org weblink a bit higher than the merriam-webster link because it was a bit more interesting; they give you a short story and let the user interactively complete it. Still, it wasn't as fun as the arcademics.com weblink.

  19. For me, the most helpful website was the one from arcademics.com. It was helpful, but fun at the same time. This site increases your spelling knowledge and it might increase your speed if you are slow. I would definitely recommend this site to others. It is a quick way to make your spelling better. One way I would practice for the spelling bee would be to study ten different words every day from the list by making flashcards. Then, test yourself on these words until you get all of them right. Then, when you are finished, you can do a few more, or you can just do the ten. Do this for a few days, and you will have mastered many new words!

  23. Personally, I enjoyed the website "http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html' because it was very fun and helpful. I found that the higher you got in the game, the more challenging the words became. I especially enjoyed playing in the computer lab at school, because I got to play with some of my peers.

  24. I really liked all of the spelling websites, but my favorite was http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html because it was interactive and fun and I liked how we got to compete with others. I also liked http://www.merriam-webster.com/ because it was challenging how we only had 10 seconds to spell the word. I also liked this website because at the end, you get to see the average of other people who played and see if you got below, above, or exactly average.

  25. I looked at a lot of these spelling websites and they were all really helpful. However, the website https://www.learner.org/interactives/spelling/.html was very helpful because it taught us how to spell the word along with its definition. Another very helpful website was http://www.merriam-webster.com/ because it was very challenging. http://www.arcademics.com/games/spelling-bees/spelling-bees.html was also a very fun and interactive website, but the words were very simple and weren't challenging.

  30. This is Ayesha typing from Ayah's account. I found the Merriam-Webster website very useful as well as the Arcademics website. A couple of tips for learning spelling:

    1. If you're an auditory learner, it's best that you hear the word and spell it out loud, or hear the word being spelled and repeating after it. Try to create a rhythm to help you remember them.

    2. If you're a visual learner, it's best to look at the words and write down their spellings. You can also "write" the word on your hand with your finger.

    3. If you're a kisnethic learner, spell the word while jump roping or doing some other form of exercise.
